We ordered the app sampler and two half boneless chicken entrees. Grape leaves were very old everything else with the app was good. The chicken was chewy and could have been cooked longer. We got the apps, salad, soup and entrees at the same time. Our server did not know who ordered what and did not check up on us at all. I am a waitress and this was unacceptable, especially because it was a slow Monday night. No sense of urgency or guest satisfaction. Would have been better off ordering carry out.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Al a mere, and it was an extraordinary culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a delightful ambiance that transported me to the heart of the Middle East. The menu is a true testament to the rich and diverse flavors of Arabic cuisine. I started my meal with a traditional mezze platter that featured an array of delectable appetizers like hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel, all bursting with authentic taste and freshness.
Really good food! The shawarma, the beef skewers, chicken, and kabob - everything was cooked to perfection I must say. Atmosphere was great and staff were really friendly and quick.
Was very excited to eat here while we were visiting Detroit and it was better than we could have hoped. Mary took such good care of us, made us comfortable and helped us pick out the perfect things on the menu. The stuffed lamb was so comforting and delicious, but the star was the raw kebbie with hashwi, truly one of the best dishes I have ever had. Come here and spend a day in Dearborn, we love DE2ROIT!
Call me cheesy but the food was a joy! Mixed grill meats were cooked to juicy perfection. The rice was good on its own. Even the salad was fresh and crunchy! The samboosa was also crunchy, and steaming hot on the inside, seasoned perfectly. The hummus was “correctly” made according to my native Jordanian palette, paired with freshly baked scrumptious pita bread. Dreaming about it still!
