Food is amazing!!!! They have an extensive menu, all the dishes are explained with what they contain, the prices are on the cheaper side, the music is authentic and not too loud so you're still able to talk and not yell. The inside is decorated very nicely, very colorful. Parking is a bit difficult to find since there's not many spots. On a weekend you'll be waiting for a table, despite the place being huge. If I'm ever in the mood for Mexican, I'll definitely be back!

Great food and generous portions at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is very authentic for a Mexican family restaurant, right down to the slightly too bright lighting. The complimentary chips and salsa are highly addictive. In particular, the salsa is very fresh, with just the right blend of cilantro, onion, acidity and heat (denoted by the bowl with a spoon). It's easy to fill up on the chips along with a margarita or ice cold cerveza. Then you'll be bringing home most of your dinner to have as a delicious lunch tomorrow.

They were able to accommodate our food allergies (gluten, beef and pork, shellfish). We asked a lot of questions and our server was able to find out the information quickly. The rice and beans were quite tasty and vegetarian. Some restaurants use meat oils/ grease to season their beans and rice, but they didn't which is great for us. It was delicious. I had the chicken fajitas. They were flavorful and juicy with plenty of meat and veggies. My son(with a gluten allergy) had fish taco dinner. He said it was spicy, but really tasty. They double wrapped his tacos in corn tortillas. My other kids had the chicken chimichangas. They both had plenty to eat. My husband got chicken fajitas with cheese. It was just as tasty as my fajitas, but he did say the cheese added depth to the flavor. Overall it was pretty good. We all are for $60 not including tip.

Mi Pueblo is a great family or group choice for Mexican at the edge of West Detroit's Mexican Town. The atmosphere is set up well, like many of the great restaurants in Mexican town and Mexican Village. This is one of the several great choices in Mexican Town to take a group. The service is very fast and friendly with great prices.

One of my go to spots for groups, families or late nights. Salsa is fresh. Big portions. But not crazy. First time I tried the gordita dinner...great job with the mushrooms. Savory and hearty.
