This is a review for an ordered item. I ordered Knafe and bread. I was so very disappointed when I opened the Knafeh Bread box, all the bread had mold on it even though we put it in the fridge upon receipt. I paid extra to receive the Knafeh and bread overnight. Not cool Shatila, not cool at all. If you're charging me an arm and a leg to ship overnight, my expectations are to get fresh non moldy bread. Also the Knafe came without any instructions on how to serve it heat. Luckily, I figured it out and it did taste good. I made my own syrup, so I can't comment on Shatila's syrup. I would be careful before you order, quality had been deteriorating the last couple of years.

I love going here, especially in the evenings when the lights are on, the atmosphere is splendid and the place is full of people enjoying confections to their hearts content. Their Baklava is always fresh, with wonderful assortments of cakes and pies, and they also serve ice cream! My favorite flavor is the pistachio, which they make fresh in-house. The only drawback would be the crowds waiting to order. It can get a little crazy depending on the time and day of the week. Is it worth braving the crowds? ABSOLUTELY! Next time you are in Dearborn, stop in and see for yourself what I and others already know! You won't be disappointed.

I love this place!! I thought I had already left good reviews for them but I am not seeing them on here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Usually a wait in line but I always use that time to decide what I want because once it is your turn they are pretty fast at boxing up the yummy stuff. Ice cream, French pastries and Arabic desserts. So amazing ???? Beautiful cakes and other mothers day goodies because tomorrow is Mother's day on May 14, 2023

This was one of my favorite places that I visited in Detroit! Huge selection of French and mid East/ Mediterranean pastries and sweets. The prices are great, the service is too. The atmosphere was really cool as well!

One of the best mediterranean bakery and sweets shops in Michigan and possibly in US. The quality of their baklava and truskish coffee is great and if you on the weekend the atmosphere is electric. It's a must-visit place if you are visiting Greater Detroit area
