Simplicity in its purest form! Two double cheese with just onions and cheese. No need for pickles,ketchup or mustard. Perfect seasoning on the meat,great carmelization on the onions. The bun and cheese are just afterthoughts. Just plain and simple burger awesomeness....
Great experience!! Well worth the trouble to get there. Outstanding hamburgers (I had two doubles) and a bottle of diet Pepsi. Burgers were hot and fresh!! The staff are so friendly, make you feel welcome and I got to meet the owner too. The gentleman who cooked my burgers even asked how they were...so nice of him. So glad I stopped by and hope to get back to Detroit sometime soon and do this again and maybe the other location too in the same trip.
Old school burger place like you can find all over (metro) Detroit. Very affordable and filling. The milkshakes taste like they used to. You'll feel a real blast from the past eating here.
As i stand here, waiting for our milkshakes, I'm still astounded at the quality of the food we just finished. They took the white castle concept and infused it with that local joint mojo. Simple menu, cheap prices, but out of this world quality. Highly recommend eating at the location so you can get the food fresh. The shoestring fries were perfectly seasoned and complimented the hot and juicy sliders. Onion rings were great too! For 4 sliders, fries, onion rings and 2 drinks, price came out to about $21! Can't beat that.
